Photo of the day: Classics
One of the great things about living in the bay area is that there are always interesting things going on. Yesterday when Husband and I were on our way to Stanford we stumbled across a classic car show. It was great fun wandering around and looking at all the amazing vehicles. Cars used to be so sexy, didn't they? All that delicious chrome and gorgeous styling.

Cars had real style up into the 1970's but then something happened. They all look like potatoes now. I dare anyone to tell a Honda from a Toyoda from a Ford.
Maybe they can't return to a beauty they had in years past, but couldn't someone at least keep them from looking identical?
I agree they all look alike now. I pulled up at a stop light today and counted 14 cars that were either white, beige, gray, or silver. Very dull with the same body style. Older cars were just so stylish with those delicious art deco accents and rich colors. Ah....glamour, that's what's missing from today's cars. Have a 6 cd changer is no substitute for a rumbleseat.
