Photo of the day: HItting the Bricks

The walkway of a neighbor's house is brick. For some reason, I liked the pattern. Yeah, I'm weird.

No, you're not weird. I once took a bunch of pictures of the ribbed precast concrete panels in the walls of a local mall. The texture was fantastic. And a series of photos of the colors cast on the stone exterior walls of a church after dark from the light passing through its stained glass windows. That was beautiful. I worked at a hospital next to the church and was entranced by the colors on the stone that I saw as I was leaving on Sunday evenings. It's amazing what you find when you open your eyes.
